Ellie Jane Goulding born 30th December 1986, Hereford England. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother and Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding has three children: A sister Isabel who is older, and a brother Alex and another sister Jordan. Alex Goulding's younger brother is a bass player. He is also an Hereford musician. In her early years, his mother encouraged the young woman to take up the instrument. As a young girl, she began taking classes in clarinet. When she was 14 she started writing songs, but she didn't start pursuing songwriting until her college period. Goulding was fascinated by electronic music as she studied.
